FRANKLIN SANDS

LIFE SAFETY COMPLIANCE OFFICER

After leaving Florida State University, Frank followed his passion and became a firefighter with the North Naples Fire Department. After 10 years of serving the public as a firefighter, Frank started his own business. This is where he learned the lesson “timing is everything”. Unfortunately, his business opportunity started 2 years before the recession and resulted in closing its doors. These events lead him back to what he knew and loved most, helping people and fire. He obtained certifications as a fire inspector and fire investigator on his way to a new chapter with the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). For the past eight years, he was a life safety surveyor in North Florida. He recently joined the CE-Tech team to provide education by teaching compliance and helping facilities maintain a safe workplace.

Frank has always had a passion for sports. Playing semi-pro football and competitive soccer around the country until the age of 43 has him moving a little slower these days. As much as it hurts, he still finds the energy to play with the kids and a round of golf every blue moon.
